A compact shrub forming a dome of grey-blue foliage. During the winter months the tip of each leaf is edged with red-purple. The new shoots in spring are purple before fading to the regular grey-blue colour. In summer the distinctive leaf edge fades and the shrub produces a display of white flowers, usually around May.
Height 60cm (2ft), Spread 1m (3ft), 5-10 years to maturity.
