Fatsia japonica (False Castor Oil/Japanese Aralia)

 

A spreading evergreen shrub with deeply lobed, dark green leaves. Round creamy white flowers on long stalks, followed by black fruit. Can be grown as a house plant. Flowers from September to October. Frost hardy. Plant in a sheltered site.
Height & Spread 3m (10ft), 10-20 years to maturity.
