A bushy, evergreen sub-shrub with small, ovate, aromatic, mid-green leaves, often turning dark-red in autumn, and loose racemes of two-lipped, dark purple and white flowers in summer and autumn.
Height 1m (3ft), Spread 75cm (2.5ft), 5-10 years to maturity.
