A dense, bushy, evergreen shrub bearing oval, toothed, leathery, glossy, dark to grey-green leaves with broad, irregular, yellow margins that fade to cream with age. Small, insignificant, green flowers bloom in summer and are occasionally followed by fruit in autumn.
