An evergreen shrub with wavy edged, greenish-yellow leaves that turn more golden as the season progresses and look particularly bright during winter months. Produces small dark-red bell-shaped flowers in late spring and early summer. It is quite a slow growing shrub but in a good sheltered site can, eventually, get quite large.
